A bank robbery, money hidden for decades and a deathbed confession – can you solve the puzzles and clues to find the location of the money stolen so long ago?
Your Challenge
A bank robbery took place decades ago and the loot was never discovered. Police investigations continued for years but it was clear there were no clues and no sign of the money. However, the last of the gang suspected of carrying out the robbery has made a startling confession. He has told a story of money hidden somewhere at Willen Lake, and a host of hidden puzzles guarding the whereabouts of the money. As investigators of unsolved crimes, you have been asked to try and find the location of the moot. You must travel to Willen Lake as soon as possible – success is in you hands. But it could be too late – others are on the search too.
Can you use the app to solve puzzles and clues, and find the location of the stolen money? You will need your wits to win the game – are you ready?
This game will normally last around 90 minutes but there is no restrictions on time. You will be able to stop the clock once to take a break.
Local History
Willen Lake is Milton Keynes’s most popular park, attracting in excess of 750,000 visitors a year. It comprises 180 acres of landscaped parkland which surround around 100 acres of water across two lakes. Both lakes are balancing lakes, designed to mitigate flooding from the River Ouzel. The southern lake offers a wide range of activities on and off the water, whilst the northern lake offers a more natural and tranquil setting, ideal for quiet walks and spotting wildlife.

Travel Information
Willen Lake is on the North West side of Milton Keynes. It can be reached by bus from Central Milton Keynes, and there is an excellent train service from the south and north, with trains from London and Birmingham. If driving, park in the Peace Pagoda Car Park or as close as you can get if very busy (although places normally available). In the park you will find two lakes, with the South Lake area containing a large play area, water sports, cafe and mobile eateries, with large grass areas all around – so is the perfect place to pause the game.
